  • During this pilot season the BET network has added a few new original series to their line-up andHouse Husbands, which will star Kevin Hart is one of them.
    House Husbands will explore the question of what it takes to be a real Hollywood husband. The funny, hilarious, and outrageous House Husbands sketch, which aired during the 2011 BET Awards, has been bumped up from an idea to an actual show. Originally, the short performance starred Nelly, Bobby Brown, Anthony Anderson and Nick Cannon as Hollywood Husbands, but besides Hart the rest of the cast for the new series has yet to be announced.
    Kevin Hart is an actor and stand-up comedian. He has recently established himself as the go-to-guy when casting a funny guy for any TV or movie role. Last year, he helped out at the MTV video music awards when he guest MC’d. Besides that, he appeared in several movies and has done a number of hilarious comedy stand-up tours.
    The debut date for House Husbands will be announced on a later date…

    • I'm a big Kevin Hart fan and I thought those skits during the BET Awards were hilarious! Not too sure how successful a "House Husbands" TV show will be but it's worth the try. The skits were such a hit it's only right to see how far Hart can go with this.Congrats to him!

    Actress Meagan Good Engaged To Seventh Day Adventist Preacher


    They make a beautiful couple! Congratulations to Meagan Good and her fiance. 

    Meagan's rep tells TMZ, 30-year-old Good recently got engaged to DeVon Franklin -- an exec at Sony Pictures Entertainment who leads a double life as a 7th Day Adventist preacher.

    A little rundown on your typical 7th Day Adventist -- he takes the Bible pretty literally, practices Sabbath on Saturday, doesn’t eat pork and frowns upon alcohol... not that there's anything wrong with that.

    According to Meagan's rep, the preacher proposed last month in L.A, but the couple has known each other for years. They began dating just after production wrapped on "Jumping the Broom" ... which Meagan starred in, and DeVon produced.

    New York Lawyer Has Black Clients Wear Glasses,Calls It "Nerd Defense"

    Interesting. What do you all think? Clever idea or is there a little bit of stereotype here?

    ​New York defense lawyer Harvey Slovis has been handing out non-prescription, thick-rimmed hipster glasses to his cleints to help them make a better impression on juries. He calls it his "nerd defense," and, indeed, African-American defendants wearing glasses are seen as more intelligent and honest, according to a 2008 study. (Glasses did not have the same effect with white defendants). It hasn't always worked: Slovis gave fake glasses to five African-American defendants on trial for a 2010 murder, but the prosecution figured out the scheme and branded the nerdy glasses as "masks."
