I am actually frightened that Obama may get 4 more years.

I always read responses to articles about this bill and wonder if there’s ANY support for it at all. Btw people who say it actually excludes american citizen’s should read it. It does not.

Much ado about nothing. When did Republicans go soft on terrorism? They applauded when GW signed similar legislation. If you are not a terrorist, you don’t have to worry. If you are, you don’t really care about some stupid law. Either way, much ado about nothing.

I’m hoping this piece of legislation won’t past the muster of the US Supreme Court, because it’s unconstitutional.

If only he would sign that for his ILLEGALS.

Cynic; What part of “unlimited detention of American citizens without charges” don’t you understand?

We the people ne4ed to take the law into our own hands! Ignore all cops, soldiers, politicians etc. Mob rule until we straighten our country out. Remember the “French Revolution”. It worked for them. Where’s the guillotine?

For the last month I have been posting ndaa 1031 indefinite detention without
trial. There is C-span video of this debate, human rights watch, ACLU,and the list goes
on. If he was not for it, all he had to do would be VETO IT. HE signed it. Story over,
just like most of our rights. And in the New Year his EPA will start it’s war on American
business. Anyone doubting this should EPA and Portland cement. I have seen
enough of this already, this man needs to go!

We do not need a new election. Obama proves himself to be a closet Republican, over and over again.

Why did the REPUBLICAN majority House pass this? Why did the Democratic majority Senate pass this? Why did the President sign this?

Oh boy! Could you imagine the uproar if Bush did this? But as always, the Left will find a way to say it’s all good and necessary.

I would expect this from one of the typical radical Republicans, but Obama has chosen financial interests over the peoples interests. The military? What is left for the FBI and the CIA? You know, I may just have to vote for Ron Paul…and that is a sickening idea to me.

WE ARE BACK AT THE PLACE WHERE OUR FOREFATHERS DECLARED INDEPENDENCE WITH THESE FACTS:
They have erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.
They have kept among us, in times of peace, standing armies without the consent of our legislature under the Constitution.
They have affected to render the military independent of and superior to civil power.
They have combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving their assent to their acts of pretended legislation:
They protect Law enforcement by protecting them from punishment for any murders which they should commit on the inhabitants of these states:
For taking away our charters, abolishing our most valuable laws, and altering fundamentally the forms of our governments:
For suspending the peoples legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.
They have destroyed the lives of our people.
They have constrained our fellow citizens to become the executioners of their friends and brethren, or to fall themselves by their hands.

The worst thing Obama has done. I so don’t agree with this.

These powers awarded to the military are not constitutional unless there is insurrection. How can we can get the courts to strike this down – If a citizens right to Habeus Corpus is denied?

The article is wrong. The final bill excludes citizens and permanent residents from indefinite detention. People keep going by the bill the Senate passed, not the one that came out of conference.

ndaa section 1031 it and you will know what was just signed.
A veto would have stopped it.
