Birth Control Pills have many, many uses for MEDICAL PROBLEMS and there
are many, many women who take them for medical reasons and medical reasons alone. They help
prevent ovarian cysts from forming and
damaging a woman’s reproductive system, they help prevent anemia for
women who have very heavy periods, they help prevent migraine headaches
and severe cramps caused during menstruation, they are used to treat
    endometriosis,
etc, etc, etc. They also lower a woman’s chance of developing ovarian
and endometrial cancers, which is a real cost-saver for all of us. The
argument that “this medication is only being used so women can have
    sex”
is utterly ridiculous and patently wrong.

    I addressed that.

Why don’t all you people out there flapping about Sandra Fluke “sleeping around” actually read her statement to Congress get some education for yourselves.
The only reason Limpnoodle apologized was for damage control. He couldn’t afford to lose anymore sponsors or radio stations dropping him.

If you get cirrhosis, we will.

  • Anonymous

Because it would of course make so much more sense to ask an uninterested bystander to testify before congress.

As though someone without an agenda would just wander in and testify.

There are plenty of places to get birth control pills for CHEAP…. and Title 10 lets people get it for free at many locations too.

There’s no reason for the rest of us to pay for recreational sexual habits of anyone.

If it’s a true medical problem, then the doctors can suggest appropriate treatment.

And Obama should distinguish between those problems — and the majority of people who use birth control pills for just that. To control the consequences of their RECREATION.

Obama isn’t distinguishing between those with medical problems and the majority who use birth control pills to control the consequences of their RECREATION.

You can’t have it both ways. Sandra Fluke (who’s a nobody–except a liberal tool) isn’t distinguishing between these situations either.

If it’s a medical problem, let doctors treat it accordingly.

But I should not have to pay for birth control pills for the majority.

Further, one can get birth control pills for cheap at Walmart and many stores… and Title 10 enables women to get it for free in many other places.

Insurance companies should not cover anything unless it’s to treat a medical PROBLEM.
